六、完形填空和阅读理解
(一)完型填空
完型填空主要考察词汇量，通常选用的是一篇短文，多为叙事或小故事，极少考察时态和复合句的用法，主要考察词汇量和固定搭配。文章的内容一般没有特别难懂和高级的词汇，故建议学生多背常用单词，阅读一些简单的英文小故事。
(二)阅读理解
1、 阅读理解类型
根据以往惯例，阅读理解的文章多选用故事或者图表的方式，议论文、说明文和应用文这几个文体选用的文章难度也不高，故阅读难度有所降低。
2、答题技巧
(1)先看问题再读文章寻找答案。首先将具体的问题了然于胸，然后根据问题去读文章，一般来说，文章问题的排版有顺序可寻，一般是一段设置一个问题，问题的设置跟段落的排版平行。
例如：

(3)图表题的答题技巧：图表题一般都只有重要的内容，非常简洁容易把握，所以也是比较好回答的题目，一般来说就是在图表中寻找关键词。

找到关键词就是找到答案的重点，在美国、巴西‘和英国 45 岁以上的人觉得比年轻人更满意自己的婚姻。
(4)注意问法和文中同义句的转换
例如上题中美国就可以是 The.U.S 也可以是 American。
